Fashion or Karzzzz - which movie will do better at the box office?

Fashion and Karzzzz releasing this Friday worldwide.
Fashion, starring Priyanka Chopra, Arjan Bajwa, Mugdha Godse, Arbaaz Khan, Harsh Chhaya, Sameer Soni, Kangna Ranaut, Kitu Gidwani, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and the film budget worth 20 Crores. The music is composed by Salim-Sulaiman. The lyrics are by Sandeep Nath and Irfan Siddique. Fashion is about two girls. Where one girl comes from a small town and becomes a leading model and another girl who is a model but suffers a wardrobe malfunction. “Fashion” explores the world of style through the emotional personal journey of the key people that make the industry - the models, designers, photographers, businessmen, and the agencies.
Karzzzz, the remake of the 1980s superhit “Karz” which starred: Rishi Kapoor, Simi Garewal and Tina Munim in the lead role and now the film stars Himesh Reshammiya ( the Indian Bollywood film music composer, singer and actor), and Urmila Matondkar, directed by Satish Kaushik. Himesh plays the lead character of Monty which was played by Rishi Kapoor. Karzzz is about reincarnation. The ninety per cent of the film completed in South Africa in forty days. Himesh Reshammiya composed the film’s music. Would Ranbir Kapoor be a better choice or Himesh Reshammiya?

Salma Hayek Wears Alexander McQueen on InStyle

Salma Hayek Pinault is certainly living the dream life. Not only does the 43-year-old mother of 2-year-old Valentina have a body most twentysomethings crave, but she's also married to one of the most powerful men in fashion, Francois-Henri Pinault, the CEO of PPR. Fortunately, for those of us wanting to live vicariously, Hayek Pinault (yes, that's her new moniker) is opening up about her real-life fashion fairy tale in InStyle's June issue, which hits newsstands May 21. On the cover of the glossy, Hayek Pinault dons one of the iconic snakeskin print dresses from the late Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 collection (PPR owns 50 percent of McQueen through its Gucci Group subsidiary). Oddly enough, she wore an identical dress at Vanity Fair's famed Oscar Party in March. We guess even fashion royalty (through marriage) can't say no to doubling up on a great garment.

The Mexican-born actress, who also shines inside the magazine in a curve-hugging purple evening gown, explains why she recently decided to tag her husband's last name onto her own.

Salma stuns in a form-fitting magenta gown. Photographed for InStyle by David Slijper"It was Valentina's request," Hayek Pinault explains. "I didn't think about it until she brought it up. We were shooting a film, and she saw my chair with my name on it. She said, 'What does it say there?' And I said, 'Salma Hayek.' And she said, 'What about Pinault? Why not Pinault?' Because here people say 'Madame Pinault.' "I said to myself, 'This is who I am now. I'm starting a whole new life. I've never been happier. Why shouldn't I share it with the people who have been supporting me my whole career, who have been with me since the beginning?' I'm a private person, but I should let them in on the fact that I'm a different person, and a better person. It's a new life." And, with a closet full of YSL, Gucci, Balenciaga, and McQueen, a much more fashionable one at that.To read more about the actress, pick up the new issue of InStyle this Friday. In other magazine news, Megan Fox is baring her unibrow in Allure.

Carey Mulligan’s Black Prada Dress For The 2010 Oscars

Carey Mulligan, the new young British hope for this awards season showed up wearing a surprising Prada black dress on the 2010 Oscars Red Carpet.
Why surprising? Because it’s full of forks? And scissors? And tons of other tiny objects? Despite of it being practically identical to a Prada pre-fall 2009 dress, I can’t help but think this pretty daring little black dress was made for Carey! What do you think? (As I’m watching the show and you’ve probably noticed the gaps in my updating with articles, I can also tell you that Carey lost the Oscar for Best Actress to Sandra Bullock.) (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!) (photos via 1, 2)

Sarah Jessica Parker In Chanel Couture Dress For The 2010 Oscars

Unarguably colored and varied, the 2010 Oscars Red Carpet can always be classified as neutral on one side and vivid on the other. The neutrals, as already brought to you by Miley and Diane (and yes, even Carey with her lbd) open wide their club to Sarah Jessica Parker.
Wearing a Chanel Couture number (that she said was created especially for the night), SJP looks lovely even though she appeared stiff and tensed. There was not much Chanel for this Oscars edition so Sarah Jessica Parker is daring as always, even when wearing neutrals! Isn’t she? (more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!) (photos via 1, 2)

Cameron Diaz In Oscar De La Renta Dress For The 2010 Oscars

I absolutely wanted to give you Cameron Diaz right after Kate Winslet! So you could taste the difference!
Cameron Diaz was shimmery and princessy on the Red Carpet of the 82nd edition of the Academy Awards Ceremony: the 2010 Oscars. Wearing a dress from Oscar de la Renta, Cameron was a shining star on the Hollywood sky. The problem was… she pulled a Kate Winslet on us: the side swept retro glamorous hair, the bustier dress? (not to mention a semi-Miley!) Now why would she do something like that? We love you, Cameron, please come back! (click here for the gallery!) (photos via 1, 2)

The Beautiful Oscar Dresses: Armani, Elie Saab, Versace And More

Though you know me well and I can’t help but put in a pinch of pepper with every Red Carpet event, last night’s 2010 Oscars Ceremony was pretty much flawless! The dresses were downright lovely and the Misses… well, let’s say they really deserved the gorgeousness of their frocks!
Talking about few of the most notable appearances of the night didn’t leave me without fuel to go on and mention the others. And not because I wouldn’t have graced them with an individual article, but because it’s about time we wrap up the fairytale-ish event that was the 82nd Academy Awards Ceremony! (the story continues with more images right after the jump, click here for the gallery!)

The tone of the night was pretty much into neutrals. Beige, chair, butter-y nuaces, everything it takes to make a significantly subtle elegance work better than a thousand sequins. However, notably missing last night were the prints! With Maggie Gyllenhaal’s exception (and what a lovely one, might I add! My favorite from this edition of the Oscars!), our beloved stars weren’t into print-experimenting. Less is more, and right they were

The Red Carpet usuals: Marchesa, Elie Saab, Armani, Versace, even Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, Dior, and Chanel were exposed under our very eyes. Talking about the Marchesa girls only leads us to the next glam-pack: the Armani girls: Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lopez. Both attending the Ceremony for presenting purposes, both wearing stunning dresses with the Armani Prive label on, both from the Spring Summer 2010 collection. Both equally charming and glamorous.

Beyonce And Her New House Of Dereon Summer 2010 Collection

And here I was, thinking she might have gave up that House of Dereon fashion thing! Beyonce comes back with even more brilliance and photoshop enhanced features under Greece’s sun to present us the Spring Summer 2010 collection from the House of Dereon!
Don’t get me wrong, I think the pictures are wonderful! The set is beyond magical and the colors well.. let’s just say that looking out my window, I’d much rather talk you though House of Dereon’s Summer 2010 collection! Try and snap me out of it! I dare you! (photos via)

Jennifer Aniston And Gerard Butler Do W Magazine April 2010

Looking down on those incessant rumors about a relationship between Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston, W Magazine goes the whole nine yards and splashes a Domestic Bliss-like issue with the two mentioned above.
Remember Domestic Bliss? With Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie? It was the coming out for them. Somewhat. What’s this W April 2010 supposed to be? (Yes, sure I know about the Bounty Hunter and that’s soon to be released, yet, one cannot hold back the imminent suppositions and speculations. Gossip, baby, it’s all about gossip. And magazines sales: don’t miss the two photos from the pictorial right after the jump!) (photos via)

Gisele Bundchen’s Vogue US April 2010

Curious about what Anna comes up with for Vogue’s next cover, I discovered, much to my surprise, that it was a model! And that’s a noble, yet rare thing to do, Anna!
However, there’s still to debate whether Gisele falls into the models category or is she just being transplanted to the “starland”! Why? All you have to do is read fragments of the web article to see the dream life she’s leading with a perfectly fit athlete and her perfectly harmonious spirit. Gisele Bundchen covers (and so much more) Vogue US April 2010! (the story continues right after the jump with more images! Click here for the gallery!)

I know you heard this before, and you’ve even heard it from me, still, I feel compelled to repeat myself: Gisele has that mummy look she never had before. Yep, mothers do have something special in their look. Especially in their early mothers life! That brings something new to old Gisele, too bad it’s not Anna’s contribution. What irks me about this Gisele’s Earth Mother story is the sanctification of Gisele’s persona. Suddenly she’s more than a model. She’s a Na’vi! How uninspired and entertainment-submerged must be the person who wrote the article as to talk about a real life person in computer-sci-fi generated terms?
From all the world’s vocabulary, it had to be Na’vi? (for those of you who are not yet familiarized with the concept and the visuals, Na’vi is the computer generated population from the planet Pandora, also fruit of Avatar’s scenarists imagination!) I admire Gisele and feel the righteousness of her covering Vogue’s Shape issue. Then again, if we’re to relate to shape issues, why bring on a goddess to make us all feel puny and irrelevant? Especially all those young mothers who look nothing near Gisele only four months after giving birth?

Kristen Stewart For Eva Magazine April 2010

I know the title is a huge spoiler, nevertheless, who would’ve recognized wax-faced, one-expression-only Kristen Stewart in this cover photo?
I wouldn’t have! She reminds me of.. Winona? I think…No prune, no lost, misunderstood teen look? Sure, her face doesn’t express much, however, as far as the makeup goes, she’s pretty surprising! Though it’s not a high profile magazine, the Slovakian editors from Eva Magazine could have just as well received a set of photographs from Kristen Stewart’s publicists. So what do you think? An European stylist with a vision or just a photos set ready made for the press? (via)

Kate Moss Does Vogue Hommes International Spring 2010

I asked myself, and you, of course, what group of people (by that I meant specifically men) targets Vogue Hommes as to come with weird-ish covers lately.
Kate Moss on the cover of Vogue Hommes International Spring 2010 was too good to miss! Not only she’s the absolute queen of Vogue covers, she’s now doing Vogue Hommes! Appropriately photographed for a men magazine, “Forever Kate” doesn’t leave me many choices as to what to publish. Hence I’m including here the only photos one could describe as almost sfw (click through to see more images). It’s a change from textile-Kate we’re used to seeing in fashmagazines (for women), not such a big change from Kate’s style. Always the star, always flirting with the camera, isn’t she? (photos via)

Natasha Poly Does Vogue Paris April 2010

Behold the Vogue Paris April 2010 issue! There’s a model on the cover! A real model! Natasha Poly. And a real fashion pictorial inside!
The trouble is the lack of expression. Natasha was commanded to only show us one face and one face only. The predator. Also known as the careless (often rich and aristocratic) tourist playing the flirting model in the sunny Moroccan desert. (the story continues right after the jump with more images! Click here for the gallery!)

Natasha the predator was wearing the colorful version of n’importe quoi next to a bored camel which had to be dragged or even carried by Natasha to make it look alive and interested in fashion. Of course everything’s lovely and sunny and summery. It’s just that look – it scares me. What about you? (photos via)

Lady Gaga’s Shades Collection With Linda Farrow And More With Forever 21

There’s no stopping Lady Gaga from conquering the world. Taking it one radio at the time, now one collection after another.
After witnessing that madder-than-your-average-Tarantino-flick Telephone video (and having to put up with a real chase of Illuminati symbols throughout the short film in the weeks following the launch), Lady Gaga’s fashion self surfaces in not one but two rumored collections. Both connected to the phone thang. Forever 21 is preparing a t-shirts capsule collection with Brian Lichtenberg whose yellow tape body wrap was seen in the above-mentioned video (no word as to what’s Lady Gaga’s name doing in all this).
The second collection tied to Lady Gaga’s name is a sunglasses collection with Linda Farrow. No further details are available, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the collection (if proved to be real) to be wearable and un-harming. (entre nous, weren’t you always dreaming about a yellow tape tee?) (via 1, 2, photos via)

Vanessa Paradis Elle November 2009 Vs Marie Claire December 2009

She also gave an amazing interview, laid back, modest and realistic. The kind you always expect from people like her (in the spotlight) but never quite deliver it. She’s a wonderful, complete, happy woman! And if there could only be more like her out there, the Red Carpet would be a better place! Then again, you never really do know someone until you meet them. And even so… After reading Marie Claire’s interview I can tell you it’s really similar and bounded to the authorized questions and answers. She’s doing all this a l’occasion de her best of. Once you read one, you’ve read them all. But what a difference Marie Claire brings!
